If you missed the captains checkbox during signups or had a change of heart and want to captain, please comment here and I will get you're name added to the list. We need 8 viable captains for a successful league.

meh, with a tourney this small, just grab the top 6 or 8 players and convince them to do it. That will also help the teams to be more even, so don't wait for someone to volunteer. Otherwise people will just sit on their hands and hope to wind up on a stacked team.

In a balanced league, captain skill shouldn't matter, just knowledge and commitment. I mean, in all ownedwell/gu leagues we've had pretty balanced teams with a mix of bottom, mid, and top salaried captains in the draft. Even a $100-300 guy can be a good candidate, since his first pick will end up guiding the rest of his picks.

You just need to find 5 more committed guys who understand the draft process and have been relatively active. Reflex and Steel should both captain, both are obvious good candidates.

Also, I didn't elect to captain on the signup page, but I'm happy to step up if you guys need one more. I've captained something like 14 UT99 leagues between prou, gu, and here.

Rick, i'd be happy to use you if we need too; unfortunately, you and me both know best that you can't draft a solid team based solely on 'whos worth more'. Some people play better together, some have differing styles, some are clutch and others aren't.

Then again, there is no perfect world so we might need you
