UT4 ports

I'm going to be porting some UT1 maps over to UT4, nothing fancy just quick and dirty ports

Each will take anything from a few hours to a day with intermittent work

Any requests?

I'll be starting with;

Status:

Control - first playable draft
Fragwhores - first playable draft
Bleak - first playable draft
w00t - first playable draft

I've been busy last few days, but i'll do some more ports today and work on em - tempest and mojo are more TDM/DOM maps kud, try and think of some CTF maps first or pub DM maps since that's the testing stage we're at now

I could work on a TDM map but i'd have to just upload it and hope the guys who played regular TDM tested it properly

Yeah, bleak looks great. No textures plz, eats my fps:) Woot has been already been made by some other guy? Any iCTF map would be amazing, unlikely that good iCTF maps will be made so soon elsewhere:P

I think the guy who ported duku is doing klondike too

I'll port over as many maps as i can once i've gotten the scale and movement down, doing them up isn't a priority but i can promise the floors will have different textures than the walls :lol:

We should start a more colaborative effort with UT4, there's enough content and online play is decent

I've been working on movement since day one and have most of the settings memorised :shock: with a few changes i've made the movement feel much better than the default, plus with these scaled maps being more open means that stuff like weapons can be tweaked

What we need are guys to test all of this with and someone who can host this content

A few people have already expressed interest in this but the more organised we are the easier it will be to test and get everything right

I would love to test the content, i'm on ut4 playing everyday plus I know the maps. Let me know if you need input.

If you finish the maps, please send them to me. My friends have a server(if you look in server browswer, it's called )BoM( iCTF) and will definitely put the maps on it to try. We have duku and klondike on our server already for testing. Please let us know what you think about them. One of my friends is also redoing mesmerize as well so that should be on the server soon. Come and check them out and give us some feedback!

Few small maps done, haven't been working on it much last few days



Having some issues packaging the maps right now, trying to find the cause - apparently there's some step which isn't listed online that i have to

I'll port a few more larger maps, aiming for iCTF maps for now
