Friendly Fire?

Postby Steel » Thu Mar 12, 2015 12:29 am

Have heard mixed opinion on the topic so I figured I would address it. RFF was a stable in TAM on ladders, but times have changed since then. As of right now, pug servers are set for RFF.

is there a way to make it so reverse FF is truly reverse? What I mean is that you still do partial damage to your teammate with the way it is set up in the pug servers as of now.

Buddy- with this setting checked, it shouldn't. Maybe that server doesn't have this checked or maybe its a coding error:

Then again, maybe this setting shouldn't be on and maybe they are BOTH active?

I'd prefer to have normal friendly fire, because it would prevent people from spamming and being a bit more weary about running in front of teammates who are firing away around corners or in general.

I've had this a few times in pugs, in one particular instance Seikei ran into my line of fire and ended up killing me because of reverse friendly fire, with him no worse for wear (not that I blame him or anything).

*cough* Fucking Seikei *cough*

never fully played tam but in 4v4 nwTDM in 99, regular FF was on. I vote regular FF.

i say normal competitive settings. 50% reverse FF.

but if it's normal FF that's fine too, that'll keep people from jumping in front of team mates.
