TAMLeague interest

Was asked not long ago about possibility of another tam league. Post if interested. Would be pretty straight forward. If interest ~=30-40 4 teams of 6. If interest ~= 60 would be 8 teams of 6. Interest ~= 85 12 teams of 6. Interest ~= 100 8 teams of 10 w/ dev matches. Interest ~= 120+ 16 teams of 6 or 8 teams of 10 w/ dev matches. Depending on player pool will change if its single/double (two groups with own bracket) bracket, single/double elim, if round robin, overall length, etc.

KEA still has a server up, and I can get another CHI and NY for a few months.

Ranking would be based off of pug server ppr or admin discretion.

Honestly this league is just sort of meant as a placeholder until the next ut4 patch comes out. Plenty of people are getting burned out from dealing with its issues, but i definitely don't want people to bail on it. So idle #tampug and #ut4pugs and maybe we can keep some activity going until it picks back up.

Other things will get fleshed out if we get enough peeps.

I'd probably sign up. For people that haven't played TAM yet, it's a solid mod and the 2k4 crew is the nicest and most likable community imo. cept northern. he's a fickdace.

Deck sucks in 2k4, Under sucks outside of pubs, wouldn't mind Goliath though.

I like Structured also but it's too small for 4v4.

I don't think we should have Achilles because Andok is so similar and just plays better.

I also really enjoyed DM-Moov if anyone remembers that, and DM-Saiko - but not the finished version, I think a2 is the one I liked iirc. There's like barely any textures or anything, but the map layout is great.

Fractionary might be weird in TAM, but what about TheOnion? Bring back some other old maps
