13 unique posts plus shotman and DS kinda just posting but not really voicing if they'd play. Naturally the number would grow if people try it out. Telectf is garbage and look at it now.

There is a reason the LGI servers died out, either people lost interest in it and played other mods or the fan base died. I used to play on those servers too, but I didn't like it, I only played for the IG. I think they should add it if they want, I don't see the harm done in adding a lot of mods on the list. But I do think it's safe to assume once it is played for a bit, it will die out rather shortly. Why you might ask? Well because apparently it's 2x easier to lame in LGI and that's real bad.

If people actually pugged LGI, I'd probably be the most active participant, but the chance of LGI activity was dead in the water as soon as it was added. The main problem being that it has a completely different feel as well as having a smaller base of people who have played it before, unlike sDOM/sniperCTF/etc. Getting 10 people to join up while a mod is in it's infancy, at least in this community, is too much work. If pugs were set to 6/8 players it would be much easier to test the waters and if it ends up being well received, it could then be set to 10.

Only problem I would anticipate is the fact that it's already incredibly easy to hit targets with newnet 155/55 LGI. 135/35 is too slow, but would be more accommodating to iCTF/sDOM/etc. players.

blamed for what list. ive been off irc for like a week now. lol mayb 2 soon. But regarding hermiones comment. Reg IG zp died as well a few years ago and came back in full strength. LGI is gone just the same reason all the other mods are. There is no competitive league base or reason to play it anymore. I don't know about you all. I play ut because I find it competitive and fun. If their were no ut99 pugs in reg grav. I probably wouldn't play ut at all to be bluntly honest. Reg grav hit a dead zone until paco decided to bring pugs back with global unreal then it went back to action. LGI's admins went away, clans died out no competition. LGI was a clan based community. Once the clans went away, so did the players. Now about playing lgi with newnet, I don't know how that will affect it, but it most likely will be easier but at the same time movement and teamwork is a big thing in lgi. WHICH IS WHY BARNBURNER AND FACING ASS SHOULD NOT BE ON THE MAP LIST FRAGWHORE NATE. lol. O well, I'll be back from vacation oct 4. I'll get the old ppl to post on the forums. Who knows maybe I'll find the legendary kdl in the process. AFK

Yeh, don't remember saying 'I'm down' to this idea on IRC..
I played low grav sniper for the first 5 years of my time in ut and loved it. Ran the [RS] server, does anyone remember it? Packed all the time, great fun.

what about the part where he said i'm down at the end of his post.. why not quote that he was a yes anyways :P. Honestly I don't know if I could deal with an lgi pug anyways doubt i'll find any competition come back into play unless jinn gets godlike with his new mouse or fish comes back. However, I wish it was given a chance. It would have once in a while pugs just like sniper. I just like being able to play more then the same 2 mods over and over. I personally don't see what it could hurt
