You still have to purchase the game itself, but subscriptions are no longer required.

I tried the game when it was in beta and it wasn't all that impressive, but they've worked on it a lot since then, and the game is now polished and easy to enjoy.

if anyone wants to gift me this game that would be cool i'll probably play it for a few hours then quit forever. my mom says that honesty is a virtue so i just wanted to be clear about what would happen. also also i dont think my laptop can run it so if you want to gift me a computer too that would be cool but make sure you include a good mouse and keyboard the ones i have now are crappy
