Well, this is kind of self explanatory with these games types, because what you're saying is CTF, DOM, DM and DM maps...
The only advice I can give about these types of maps ( I guess you're talking about pugging maps and tourny maps ) is to look at the maps that are created for them.
Look in the properties of flags, control points, player starts, etc. Reverse engineer the maps and try to build your own guide to how you make those types of maps.
