I think my laptop hate stream.

Postby Chamberly » Thu Dec 03, 2015 7:31 pm

I been trying several different stream programs and it starting to give me false hope for no success. I'm on my laptop...

I've tried:
Raptr's Twitch - This one make my UT get a runtime crash. Might be worth researching a way around this?
Raptr's Plays.TV - This one say software doesn't support my graphic card.
OBS - This one says I don't have DX 10 (But I'm on DX 11?)
FFSplit - Got an error, not too sure about it. http://pastebin.com/kyfYRTVP
XSplit - have yet to try... unsure about trial.
(Just tried this one, but have a extremely low FPS like under 10 FPS...)
Openbroadcast - Not sure if this one will work with my laptop because it seem to be set up for nVidia (and my laptop have an intel onboard graphic)

My laptop spec:

Hmm? It would be obvious if I didn't set something right as well... so I'm not too sure.

I've used fraps before but sometimes I just wanna lay off doing all the manual work and just have something else easier.

with your current set up your bottlenecked with an onboard video card. in order to efficiently stream games your processor speed has to be higher along with your graphics otherwise it won't render correctly and it'll be slow and sluggish like it is now.

Would a better RAM/CPU help this vs the Intel HD Graphic not being upgraded?

Ok so to move on over to the desktop, let's see what software/program I can get to stream with this?

Afaik, OBS won't do well except to run really crappy.

If you use a Nvidia graphics card, use GeForce Experience, can stream out of that, pretty good :).

Well I do have an onboard Nvidia graphic, so maybe I should switch to a Nvidia graphic card instead (like buying one and change the ATI card I added in?)
