Well, Vista was not just small minor bugs & issues. Performance-wise, it was very buggy, and the excess amount of processes they had that you couldn't disabled. omfg, MS dropped the ball there. Windows XP was much more stable and reliable than Vista while being much simpler -- I read someplace once that Vista almost had twice as much programming code as XP, which is "WTF INSANE"

What about leaving Windows Defender On? it's not going to give you a FPS boost or make your computer more responsive. You have been reading the wrong tweak guides online.

98 was junk when 95 was ancient king, XP was junk when 98 was julius caesar, Win7 was junk when XP was Genghis KHAAAAAANN, etc etc..it's a cycle, people hate the new shit

with that said, every OS goes through growing pains and multiple patches. We'll all be using it within the next 2 years. Now you can be like the old men in WoW who go "Back in my day we raided UBRS with FIFTEEN people in blues! without mods!" but it will be about Win10 being absolutely fucking awful on debut (in your opinion)

edit - this does not include windows millenium, which will always be a flaming dumpster fire
