tldr; in 2 years paco can buy a new card for around 350 and get way better performance than the 980. No sense in spending that kind of dough when it doesn't make a big difference now and it won't later.

Get a case going and tell them you bough this video card at a local computer shop 7 months ago. They will issue you a RMA no problem.

GTX who? Be a man and get the EVGA TitanZ, to future proof add a Nvidia Tesla K80. Should be good for at least 4th quarter 2015.

Got the card two weeks ago. I LOVE IT! It destroys everything I have thrown at it at 1080p and I don't anticipate running any higher resolutions in the near future. It cost a pretty penny but it's a piece of hardware that I'll be using for the next 2-3 years. I recently started my stream up again and I like the flexibility and power it provides.. Overall I'm a very happy PACO.

You should stream more often, k0n. I often watch grins and sometimes m3ss. I'm sure you have different interests in games. I like watching different varieties of streamers with different interests in games & personalities (just not raging slydog ).
