Some peoples are saying it won't do anything for UT99/Unreal. I guess they aren't double checking on this but I'd ask up about it to the developers tbh for serious confirmation.

UE4 doesn't have anything to do with UT99. Zilch. Zero. Nada. The only thing they share is the name "Unreal" and a few maps from UT99 that were ported into UE4. I suppose you could claim the game play is the same, with both being Arena FPS genre. But UE4 cannot develop anything retroactively for UT99.

I'm assuming they are still going with the 10% cut of anything you may sell using their engine? Pretty much the same deal they had for developing in UE3.

It's very cool for UT as well, because when someone installs UE4 this is the first screen they will see. It may not be UT99, but it's still a lot closer than anything else available.

Good point kud. People should download the Epic Games Launcher and start dabbing in UT4. The most recent update is very interesting. The game is obviously still in the pre-alpha phase and there is a lot that still needs to be done but it is showing a lot of promise.
