euro trip

Postby n0mer » Wed Feb 11, 2015 1:51 pm

Hello All, I bought a package for the tomorrowland festival and it includes transportation and accommodations in hotels of 4 cities (brussels, amsterdam, london and paris), but i will stay in europe for 5 days more and i don't know where to go.

Im making this thread for ask u guys for what to do in each city and if u can give me some tips.

I have some questions right now...

I will land on Frankfurt, Germany on july 19th and i need to be in brussels on july 22th:

- I found some cheap flights form an airline named RYANAIR. what can u tell me about that airline?

- Which city should i visit this days? (I was thinking on Prague, Venice, Rome, Munich or Berlin).

- What u recommend me to do in all the other cities? (brussels, amsterdam, london and paris).

I live near Amsterdam, 5 minutes from Schiphol airport. Im quite sure we can do a quick UT meetup with some people in Amsterdam and have some fun. When are you in Amsterdam?
I'd definately recommend going to Prague and Rome, beautiful cities.

imo...
City: Rome
Ryanair: :s check google for there rep.. i won't go there...
What I do in; Brussels.. really don't know enough of to give an opinion; Amsterdam.. meet up with UT ppl, since some are there and that's always cool, share some white widow weed in a coffee shop and let go for a day.. or night; London.. Visit the Natural History Museum, maybe look up a good place to try a meat pie to avoid fish n'chips; Paris i have visited and i would advise walking down the Champs Elysees from one end to the other, and if u have time go up the Eiffel tower, and check the vendors near the river banks bridges for cheap goods, around the area of the Notre Dame, wich is also worth a visit (all depends on the number of days).

Tomorrowland is great, congrats on getting tickets! Really hard to get :)

I suspect you'll be knackered tbh :p

Ryan air is cheap in an annoying way, but it's fine for short trips in europe. You're only in a plane for a short period and in the end they will be in time etc.

Ryanair is pretty cheap but you have to pay for every little extra (like luggage and stuff) so check that beforehand imo.
If you wanna have fun in Germany don't go to Munich imo. Munich is for arrogant snobs. Most fun city is Hamburg imo. Definitely check out Reeperbahn and Schanze. Real entertainment for men if you know what I mean ;)
Berlin is nice per se but a bit too hip imo - dunno how to describe it. But many sights to see there.
While you're in Frankfurt you could check out the zoo. I really like it.
And if you get the chance go eat a Currywurst @ Best worscht in town http://www.bestworschtintown.com/
Heard Latin Americans like it hot - there you can prove yourself.

Ryan air is as budget as they come. You won't get a bag, or seat selection without paying extra (one mad queue at airport). The leg room isn't great and the airports will be kinda far out ones but they will get you from A to B. For short flights it perfectly fine, but I wouldn't recommend it on a long flight.

How many days do you have to use in London?
