I dont play ut99 anymore so often and i didnt even realized that i get freezes in ut untill recently coz i didnt load ut in a while. So anyway whenever i want to play some ut i have to downclock to stock again which is a pain in the ass coz i play ut really rarely nowadays but i decided to start to play ut again more often coz u know its still the best game i ever played and all. we all agree here i think
The thing is really annoying coz whenever i want to get some doze of ut i have to restart my pc go into bios and put everything to stock again and reboot. its time consuming and then probably when i boot again i often just load a movie or smth and totally forget about ut.
Offline everything works fine (who plays offline anyway?? ok aim practicing doesnt count!!). Lets say i want to go play on US or UK server which sadly sucks but they are the only active insta servers that i know off. (bring the -=]KiK[=- clan server days back!!!) The freeze happens when ACE starts to check so i think its something related to ace. So when the freeze happens i can only control+alt+del and shoot ut down in task manager coz ut doesnt respond anymore.
I tried to downclock the multiplier, CPU-NB and HT Link but so far it only works when i am at stock configurations.
Anyone has an idea what i could be? No way its the OC @ 3.9 Ghz coz its fakin stable!! 24 hours in prime95 no errors.
