Anyone use finger-tip mouse grip?

Postby blade » Thu Dec 25, 2014 5:48 pm

If so, what mouse do you use for it? I was looking at Logitech G602 then I noticed it is built for palm grip & claw grip. It is too big for finger-tip grip (no sexual innuendo here, pervs! :OWgrinsgasm: ).

It is meant to replace Deathadder with *double-clicking issue* on 3rd DA in a row (enjoy the garbage can Deathadder for life!) and I need something decent as I am going to start playing CSGO. I used to use palm grip but not anymore. Finger-tip feels easier to move & more precise. Clawgrip is in-between but I don't feel comfortable arching my fingers at such odd angle.

Thanks! merry xmas

I use fingertip grip and it works fine with a Steelseries Kinzu v2. It's a small and light mouse. However I wouldn't recommend this mouse especially for CS:GO due to low malfunction speed. I myself am planning to get a Logitech G100s soon as it has a better sensor and buttons, so I'd suggest that for now. It's also probably one of the lightest gaming mice on the market if you take out the internal weight.

I'm often playing between palm and finger-tip gripping on the mouse. Mostly finger tip tho. I use a Logitech G600 and it has been fine except my thumb is happy trigger on the left side button (G9) some other times so I had to replace that with a blank keybind so I won't screw up or something. :D

Fingertip with slight palm to it, so hybrid sort of. Razer Mamba 2012 (basically wireless deathadder)

I've always played with finger-tip grip.
Few years ago I owned a Logitech G3, now it's a Logitech G100s (bought 2 just in case).
Also tried the G400s, G500s, and Deathadder 2013 but they feel way too big for me.

Hm, I use a combination of the palm grip and claw grip, when I'm moving around i use palm, but when I'm firing I use claw, mostly for sniper or combos. That's bout it.

DA is targeted more for palm and some claw. Not quite finger-tip as it is on the large side for fingertip unless if you have massive hands.

I am now looking at G502. It probably has the best sensor on the market and is definitely the best Logitech mouse out there. It is small enough for finger-tip, but it is bit on heavy side.. It is a fairly new mouse, but I am waiting for its price to drop a bit from $70. It was $50 a week and half ago -- I was too stupid not to buy it then..

logitech g5 & fingertip/palm depending on what feels the most comfortable...I honestly don't move my mouse a lot when I aim(my snapshot aim isn't the greatest), I get majority of all my kills with prediction and lining up my shots

best mouse I've ever used: haven't missed a shot in rust yet.

Sensor wise, there are a handful of worthy ones. I own many mice (DA 2013, G400s, SS Rival, RAT 7, Mionix Avior, Roccat Pure, G502, Zowie FK1, MX518, Naga). FK1 is super light, which is why it's tops for me among other reasons. I will say the G502 has a ridiculous sensor, but i found it to be too heavy.

Again it depends on grip, but I use a claw.

Yes, Zowie fk1 is very light and perfect for fingertip grip & has very good sensor. I read quite a few reviews. I was real close to buying it but phr/csn pushed me away from it and back to G400s. G402 is meant is replace G400s so G402 brings me right back to G502..

Zowie fk1 shape reminds me very much of my old Microshit wheel mouse optical in mid 2000's and Deathadder

Damn, you own 11 mice? Except for MX518, you listed all fairly new, which means you might own older mice too. Where do you store them all? Your own personal warehouse? :o

Sensor aside of course, it is mostly preference really. What fits your hand the best.

I like the fk1 because it is simple with low LOD. KISS - you know the acronym. Uber mainstream mice are water logged with needless crap like DPI and lighting. I prefer a light mouse that has a nice texture that is going to aim where I want it to. Less hand fatigue, and more responsive - at least for me.

I used the g400s for awhile and still like it. After using the fk1 and fk2, it just feels clunky.

Pick a mouse with a good sensor, that fits your grip.

If you simply want the best sensor, get the G502.

I ended up getting Logitech G402. Great mouse overall and very good drivers. Only complaint is the wire sucks on this. Dang it, I considered everything but that. No wonder people prefer the G502 and its braided wire. It is good for $48 though - wire alone does not warrant $20 extra. I will give it 2 weeks though, Amazon will switch it for G502 if I must in that time.

Better mouse than the Deathadder though. Clearly better build quality and better clicker.
